Ever tried gluing a magnet to acrylic...it's insane. Our stands are finished...except for one thing...the magnet strength is stronger than the adhesive (any adhesive we have tried at home or in the factory) If we can't find an adhesive we will have to do a slight redesign before tooling and manufacturing...but we don't want to have to do that, they are perfect for our needs the way they are...except for the glue....
Any suggestions? (Besides any of the following in industrial strength and it must be clear when dry) Super Glue JD Weld Gorilla Super Glue Locktite Super Glue Zap Glue Locktite (2 part mix) Hot Glue Epoxys Sealants Nothing at the hardware or hobby stores will work. And Acrylic cements may eat the magnets. UPDATE: I am still open to suggestions because this design is the best for our needs. Until I find something tho, we will have to go forward with plan B. We will be slotting the acrylic and press fitting the magnets into place and should need not need any adhesive at that point.

Have you tried epoxy? I know locktite makes on that come in separate tubes for the hardener and resin, and they mix clear. Theres also a thin double sided sticky tape that's pretty strong that we use at work (comercial grade I think), but I don't how strong your magnets so they might come out.

Our alternative is to slot the plastic to keep the magnets in but they will lose strength through plastic...and we don't want that unless we have too : - ) Thank you for all of your tips, I appreciate it!

Your magnets must be really strong! I once had to reglue the magnet in a Toy Biz Spider-man Classics figure and two-part epoxy has been holding it since 2001 or 2002!
I used some greenstuff to attach some magnets to Stun hubcaps and it seems to work (course it's not clear like you need) |

I checked my go to site for gluing stuff... thistothat.com
Nothing on magnets specifically, but here is what they say about gluing metals to plastic This to That (Glue Advice) It sounds like clamping and steel wool might help.

Have not tried that one yet TTT...I've never heard of it? looks like I've exhausted all my options....new prototypes and more money here I come ...yea : - ( On the bright side...it still shouldn't be too long till we can debut these babies. I have a diorama set up on my dining room table right now that makes me smile. It's unlike anything I have ever seen in my life...and I hope they will please the collecting world as much as I think they will : - ) Show you all soon!
