I ordered something from some company not named Entertainment Earth earlier this month. It shipped out of (I think) Ackworth, GA on the 3rd and has been sitting in Atlanta ever since, so I suspect Trump's fucking about with the postal service is largely to blame for slow shipping times right now.

I just got my JP Nedry figure today... it shipped on 7/30. I do suspect that the current administration’s dicking about with the post office may have something to do with it.

The increase in people ordering from home coupled with all of the COVID precautions likely implemented by the USPS has nearly broken the system.

USPS is so boned right now. Between the push in '06 to financially cripple them so private businesses could replace them (check out the Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act of 2006) then being publicly berated by a major politician for not raising their prices (something they're legally not allowed to do unless said politician works to lift said restrictions) and then being headed by said politician's donors who've "coincidentally" crippled the agency in such a way as to help said politician's re-election chances in such a moronic, cartoonishly obvious way as to get 20 states to file lawsuits...
Of all the things to bash and hinder and hobble and sabotage for personal gain, you've chosen one of the backbones of commerce and medical treatments? Who does that???

Even CC wouldn't go that far. This Cobra-La territory.

I have been sending and receiving a lot of packages and have only noticed a one day lag most of the time. I’m thinking the delays are only in some areas or from corporate business shipping.
And USPS was broken long before Cobra la so maybe it has to be broken more before it gets better.

Since we're talking about unpleasant fuckery with the post office, may as well link a guy I enjoy watching:
https://youtu.be/bYMTYleyUok Personally, I haven't had too many things getting delayed, and usually not more than a couple days. Maybe I'm just lucky. Though, my mailman has been leaving our mail in other people's mailboxes a lot, but that's not new. And yeah, CC wouldn't stoop as low as to mess with the post office. He's not that evil. |

That really isn't the fault of the store. Once it leaves them they really have no control over where it goes.
