Real or fake? I'm one of them folks who believe everything. Time travel, Bigfoot, Loch Ness, etc..etc.
I dont like the idea of the world without mysteries. I do believe in UFO's. It's a ignorant, and ultimately an arrogant assumption that Homo Sapiens are the only beings in existence, also..the human race ..well we are a simple and beyond a fucked up species. Time travel no comment. Loch ness is a plesiosaur no doubt. UFO, yep. Humans (Homo Sapians) not being the only beings is interesting. I say we are the only beings from a creation stand point (which I find has the most support), and an evolutionism viewpoint (which I find severely lacking).

I admit, the camera thing is a legit subject. I get that back years ago cameras weren’t good but I have a camera that can pick up a zit on a strippers ass from 200 yards away so I refuse to believe there isn’t anyone out there with better equipment than me. That said though, I do believe there is something out there. I have heard people say the Gulf region like sbartek said too.

One of the more interesting UAP encounters happened less than five months ago, on November 26, 2019 when one violated restricted airspace and decided to fly over the District of Columbia for several minutes.
That was in the daylight at 8:27 a.m., prompting a lockdown of our capitol until 9:12 a.m., and the most interesting thing about that was our military jets intercepted it and flew alongside it for nearly 30 minutes. It was never hostile, and had no markings or propulsion systems that we could identify. I look forward to the day that the public is allowed to see the recordings of that event, because I bet it was a fantastic experience for our pilots.

The Department of Defense recently released this statement regarding the new Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force.
“On Aug. 4, 2020, Deputy Secretary of Defense David L. Norquist approved the establishment of an Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) Task Force (UAPTF). The Department of the Navy, under the cognizance of the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security, will lead the UAPTF. The Department of Defense established the UAPTF to improve its understanding of, and gain insight into, the nature and origins of UAPs. The mission of the task force is to detect, analyze and catalog UAPs that could potentially pose a threat to U.S. national security. As DOD has stated previously, the safety of our personnel and the security of our operations are of paramount concern. The Department of Defense and the military departments take any incursions by unauthorized aircraft into our training ranges or designated airspace very seriously and examine each report. This includes examinations of incursions that are initially reported as UAP when the observer cannot immediately identify what he or she is observing.” https://www.defense.gov/Newsroom/Rel...na-task-force/ It has nothing to do with trying to prove the existence of extraterrestrial life, but it does investigate the sightings of amazing technology which exceed anything our scientists can explain.

If you guys are interested in UFOs there's an interesting documentary on Bob Lazar on Netflix. His story is that he actually worked in an area called S4, a different area than Area 51, and he claims to have worked on reverse engineering the propulsion system from flying saucers. He says they understand the science theory of how it works, but we are unable to replicate the technology because the materials needed cannot be found on earth. It's very intriguing to think about if it's really true. Supposedly, it works by being able to produce an artificial gravity field to distort space. There are some Joe Rogan podcasts where he interviews Bob Lazar and the guys that did the documentary.
Bob Lazar has yet to be discredited from what I gather. Over time, bits and pieces of his story come to light and verify some parts of his story. For example, a long time ago he claimed that the facility where he worked used some kind of biometric device for security where you had to place your hand on it and it measured the lengths of certain bones in your hand that are unique to each person. Eventually, some photos of the device surfaced that corroborated that part of his story because they used the same device for people working on the stealth fighter. At the time in the 80s when he claimed it that technology was highly classified and unknown to outsiders. So, at the very least the photos of the device seems to corroborate that he worked on top secret gov't projects. There's always some skepticism in me that keeps me from fully believing everything, but it's just fascinating to think that it could actually be true. I'm the type of person that won't necessarily dismiss anything, but I want to see concrete proof either proving or disproving something. Maybe some day we'll know the truth. It's interesting to think that if we could replicate that technology it would completely change the world, hopefully for the better. |

Big difference there Drunken. It's not like the aliens are physically revealing themselves to us. If all we saw were blurred low quality pics of GI Joe toys and interviews from disgruntled former Hasbro employees with super deep voices and just their silhouette visible and we never physically seen any with our own eyes and touch with our own hands then I would truly believe those toys really don't exist.

Anything is possible and I am almost certain that we are not the only ones in the universe(s). However, consider that our home galaxy, the Milky Way Galaxy is 100,000 light years across in diameter. If you could travel at the best we have at this moment about 40,000 mph it would take approximately 17,200 earth years to cover just 1 light year. Alpha Centaury our nearest star is 4.37 light years away or over 75,000 earth years for us to get there using current tech. Now we estimate there are billions of galaxies and the number of stars nearing the quadrillion. It is a pretty big place so what are the chances that we have ran into one another.

I saw that GI JOE autopsy video. I had relatives in Roswell who saw the bodies of 12" GI JOEs.

I have seen UFOs twice, and one corroborated encounter that might be considered “supernatural”. I am highly skeptical of what these things might have been, because I don’t have enough information to say “Aliens!” or “Ghosts”.
However skeptical I am, I do believe that there are necessarily things in the nature of existence that are beyond human understanding. Take a dog for instance... a dog is a wonderful creature, but there is a hard limit to how much of the world a dog can perceive and understand. Humans are exponentially more intelligent and intellectually sophisticated than dogs, but there must be a similar upper limit to human understanding. I don’t think we’re even close to reaching it, but it HAS to be there. Perhaps some of the things in the world that we classify as paranormal or spiritual or supernatural are just glimpses of the part of the universe we are not correctly equipped to perceive.
