...what the States would be like if the south won the civil war? Would we have been allies, or be in a cold war situation? Any big brush ups between our two nations? Fought together during WW1 and WW2, well any foreign
conflict? Would the Great Depression be a thing? Would Alaska and Hawaii, been part of either country?

There is an author Harry Turtledove who rights about alternative history. Read some of his books and it just got me a wondering about that sort of thing. Also, being quarentined while its pouring rain outside has me pretty bored. And taa daaa... here I am thinking and asking strangers about an alternate time line.

I have always wondered about alternate histories. At times it's simple things like how my life would be if I made different choices. Or how my life would be if I had moved to a different area years ago. And then sometimes I think about how life would have been if our government was taken over by foreign governments during World War II.
