Not the beer.
How is everyone doing? I'm in santa clara county, CA. Family is okay, people are behaving. No police enforcement so far. The office effectively shut down last Monday at end of shift. It is frustrating that I can't move forward with infrastructure projects, but it's a small price to pay. I just hope all play nice so we can get through this quickly. |

I'm in the food industry, still working, but at a reduced rate because we've gone take away only. My overhead is low, so I'm not too worried there, I'm more concerned with getting through this with a smile on my face. Stores were slow to blow through the ridiculous things people have been hoarding elsewhere, but it is happening here too now. Monkeys. I'll still drink the beer, though. |

Doing good just outside Austin Texas. I work in Austin and we are now forced to telecommute. I can still go onsite for projects and meet with vendors when needed a couple times a week, but doing that outdoors and keeping my distance. Any of the facilities I manage including parks, sport courts and pools are closing or becoming use at your own risk. I would close them if I had the final say.
Kids are on Spring break this week, but it's already going to be extended another two weeks. I don't expect they will go back this year. A teacher who was healthy two weeks ago and helps load my daughter in the car died yesterday. The school announced the death but didn't say anything about COVID-19. The teacher's mother noted on Facebook her daughter was being tested for the virus and it will be a few days before they know the cause. So it may already be in my kid's school. I hope for the best and we are going to be watching it closely. |

Sounds like we're all in the same boat.
Taking care of my grape vines today because I finally have some time and I can't stay inside without going stir crazy. Plan on making some cuttings after I have some lunch. But actually slowing down got me thinking; If you have to stay inside doing the quarantine and customize 13 gi joe characters who would they be??? |

I'm in St. Louis. The stores are still pretty well stocked of the things you need, minus toilet paper. I've always been a minor league prepper type, so I've got enough of things. But I never thought about toilet paper.
I'm just getting bored. |

Here in Wisconsin the stores are cleared out. At Sam’s Club you have to wait in a line outside the store and only a few people are let in at a time.

Went to the grocery store today - cleaning supply aisle, soaps, detergents were all low. No Toilet Paper or Paper towels to speak of. 9/11 is the only thing I can compare to what is going on now. My only real goal is to keep my wife and children safe. I do not want the virus (obviously) but most of the anxiety I have is more due to a potential social breakdown due to unemployment and supply chains slowly drying up. Keep yourselves and your families safe fellow hiss tankers.

Read an article about law enforcement catchinh a guy and shutting down his Amazon account because he was buying all of the baby diapers, baby wipes, baby bottles, and baby formula and selling them at very high prices. I think they said his price gouging was about 1500% mark up. This is way beyond ridiculous!
