What was your favorite Saturday morning cartoon or TV show growing up in the 80's? I don't think I had any one favorite as I liked them all. I can remember constantly flipping back + forth thru channels trying to watch multiple shows at once, not wanting to miss anything remember this was before DVR. We didn't even get cable at our house until the early 90's I don't think, so every Saturday morning I was up no later than 5am to grab my bowl of cereal & be ready in front of the tv. There were only five channels I think but all of them had something good! Channels 4, 5, 7, 9 and who could forget good ol' channel 20 which dosen't even exist anymore. We had the best cartoons and some early morning shows that weren't even cartoons but still great like anyone remember "hickory hideout"?
Anyway I miss those days, I liked all my Saturday morning shows but what was your favorite? |

When I was 6 in 1980 I remember watching the old Batman and Robin series with Adam West and Burt Ward, not a cartoon, I know, but I loved it.
My favorite 80s Saturday cartoons were: The Smurfs Scooby Doo A Pup Named Scooby Doo The Real Ghostbusters The Dukes of Hazzard Super Friends Hong Kong Phooey |

Truthfully, most of my watching was after school, and I can't remember what was on which day, but:
G.I.Joe (seriously? No one??!?) The Super Mario Super Show Transformers The Smurfs Thundercats MOTU TMNT Captain N: The Game Master Ducktales were all in my top slot at one point or another. |
