I dont think so, it is to easy and cheap to find what you want without taking any risk.
Merry Christmas Limerbean.

Piracy is easier with disks. I can easily copy a cd onto another blank cd using literally any computer with a disk drive.

Actually, no. Most people have Netflix or have access to someone else's Netflix account. As for music, you can use YouTube if you don't want to pay for it. In the 2000s, however, people would pirate songs off of limewire or napster and then burn them to cds, or copy other people's cds and dvds using a cd tower.

The internet itself did. As net access grew, so did piracy, because no one in their right mind would pay for something that's so easily acquired freely, with the exception of a small group of dedicated fans. Wise artists have embraced this, made their media free, and put out a virtual tip jar. Some argue that this is killing the music/media industries, but I disagree- it's thinning out the hollowness in it little by little, and ensuring that the people making art are in it for art's sake, and not with the sole intention of cranking out soulless "art" to make a quick buck. Sure, that still happens, but it is becoming less profitable to do so, thanks to the wonderful proliferation of piracy. Television is a dead media, go home and go to bed, grandpa!

Recently, a lot stuff has been banned over the years and i wouldn't be surprise if they did the same with streaming/download.
