I just saw a guy with a “help me I’m homeless” sign. Felt bad for the dude until I saw him walk right into the liquor store and come out with two bottles. Not sure if I am pissed or if I think he is a genius. Either way that hurts the people who are in real need of help.

I had this dream where I'm walking home from work, really late, in the middle of the night. There isn’t anyone else on the street. Suddenly, from out of the darkness, comes an ominous bump…bump…bump.

I look behind me and I see this shadowy thing coming down the street after me. I become unnerved and I pick up my pace, and then I finally break into a panicked run.

I look behind me again, and the shadow is closer. Bump…bump…bump.

The glow of a streetlight illuminates the shadow momentarily, and, to my horror, it is a coffin, bumping down the sidewalk. I quicken my pace, running as fast as I can go, but the coffin only pursues more quickly. BUMP…BUMP…BUMP!

I reach my house, fumble frantically for my keys, and slip my way in the door just as the coffin reaches the front steps. I slam the door shut and lean against it, trying catch my breath. Then there's a moment of silence...

Suddenly…. Bump…bump…bump…Bump…BUMP! BUMP! BUMPBUMPBUMPCRAAAAASH!!!!

I push myself away as the door breaks off its hinges and I fall to the floor. Scrambling to my feet, I race up the stairs, and the coffin races after me. BUMP BUMP BUMP BUMP!

So I'm terrified and I back into a corner and start throwing everything within reach at the coffin — a handful of papers, a vase, a box of crackers, a lamp — but the coffin keeps coming!

BUMP BUMP BUMP BUMP BUMP INCHES FROM MY FACE, and nothing seems to slow it down! My hands fall upon a bottle of cough syrup, so I grab it and I throw that at the coffin, too!

The coffin stops.
