Hope ya'll don't mind a new guy butting in to your nightly banter (or whatever ya'll call this). So I get him being charged for threatening other people and drugs, but it said he was being charged for carrying a deadly weapon. If I needed to cut down a tree and bought a chain saw, I would get charged for openly carrying it because I didn't have a car?
If that is true, maybe we need to start issuing CCL's (Concealed Chainsaw License).

I'm pretty sure it's the intent and/or risk to others that constitutes "deadly weapon" in cases like this. A car is a "deadly weapon" if you try to run someone over with it. I've seen a pool cue designated as a "deadly weapon" due to how it was used.

"Concealed Chainsaw License" might make a good band name, though.

Yep. If you use it as a weapon, then they can charge it as such.
