Lol! Yeah he can make up some of the funniest shit. Whatever shit about the Fisher Price guy wanting some seeds and ready to go to the farmers market was funny too. I've only watched it once so I need to go back watch it some more. I used to have that Airman John figure.
One of my personal favorite quotable lines that I can't remember which video it's from, but it's one where he mixes up some liquids in a clear glass and he says something like "Hey this looks a lot like sweet tea... and I like sweet tea... but I wouldn't recommend drinking this milksture(mixture). I recite that line at least a few times a week especially when I'm drinking some sweet tea. This is the first video I have watched of his. I am an instant fan. I am going to check out his videos tonight.

OK, I'm not up on the latest internet things and I was wondering if what I witnessed tonight was something new. Tonight I went to this Wal-Mart that I usually don't go to very often. While walking back to the clearance area, I noticed a girl in the middle of an aisle with her phone out that I assumed was taking a picture of something she had set on the floor. Didn't think anything of it. I then walked down the next aisle checking out all the clearance junk for a few minutes. As I rounded the endcap to go down the aisle this girl was on, there was a sudden commotion with the girl on the phone kind of running around in a circle....then I look over... and another girl was laying on one of the store shelves lengthwise on top of some bags of bird seed. She quickly rolled out onto the floor and just sat there in silence like I didn't just see where she came from. Is this a thing now? Laying on store shelves?... or on top of bags of bird seed and taking pictures of themselves?

They might have just been on drugs. We are talking Wal Mart here so it would not surprise me.

Hell who knows, they could've been snorting the seed. I'm not really sure if they were just taking pics or were making some kind of weird new challenge video. I just said that I wasn't even going to ask what they were doing as I passed by them. Then bird seed girl just covered up her face in shame.

Yeah, who the hell knows. I was at Target yesterday, and a group of tween girls were making a hell of a racket in the toy section, and loudly joking about even the most lukewarm of innuendos they made to each other ("playing with myself!!"). Kids are just weird, and rebellious at every chance, even if it's been long enough for most of us to forget about it. Couple that with easy access to video sharing and social media, and pretty much all bets are off.
Every so often, when I'm out and about and see tweens or teens doing stupid stuff, I want to tell them to just shut up or grow up. Then I realize I'm basically telling them to get off my metaphorical lawn. Ugh. No, I'm not like that already, am I?

Haha you guys are the best! Rip says thanks for all the birthday well wishes!
As someone who goes to multiple Wal-Mart's every day I can tell you that the tweens and teens of America are only as stupid as their parents. I see both on a daily basis and I'm worried about our future as a nation. Maybe I'm just being an old man, but I see very few positive qualities in them. |

Haha, I do love shame and embarrassment on the face of a doofus! I definitely remember doing stupid shit with my friends, I guess it just felt different because everyone in the world wasn't connected by their pocket locator!

I failed to mention it, but these bird seed abusers were older, in their 20's or college age at least. Maybe that's why it surprised me more. I initially kind of laughed because it was just a weird situation to walk into. They kept silent. I also had a moment of those same "angry old man feelings" and wanted to cuss them out for whatever reason. I refrained though. The subtle shame that set in on the bird seed girl when she covered her face was pretty satisfying.
