I'm finally getting my new roof today. I shouldn't bitch about it, but those dudes showed up 6:30 AM and went straight to work. Sounded like World War 3 on my roof this morning, and I am NOT an early bird. I'll be very happy when they get it finished.

They sort of have to show up that early (I was a roofer for a bit). It's not as big of a deal this time of the year, but the warmer it gets, the easier it is to damage certain materials during installation, especially comp. Not to mention, the later in the afternoon it gets, the higher the risk of heatstroke.

Same happened when I got my roof done. 6:15AM I am sleeping and hear all this noise, look out the window and there are two dudes shooting up a ladder and then it was on. But they were done by 1PM. It was pretty impressive and damn noisy.

Oh if it was summer time, I'd completely understand. But the high temp today is 75 degrees. Wish they had waited until at least 7 AM, but hey, I'm just happy it's getting done.

Well, the insurance is covering it, so it's not costing me hardly anything. I wouldn't feel comfortable paying you half of nothing Itch.
