How do you guys feel about the crowdfunded jaba sail barge?
I would put down 150 for a new whale, or a moray. I think this would be a good idea for the how collectors market. Not that it will ever happen. |

I haven't been into Star Wars for years, but this sounds pretty damn exciting. The price actually doesn't sound too bad considering it's a new item, how big this thing is, what all it includes, in actual packaging, and shipping included. If I could swing it I'd seriously think about getting in on it. I've never felt comfortable with the whole kickstarter thing and I may be wrong, but this seems like a much safer bet(and maybe a lesser pain in the ass) with a big toy company like Hasbro. They look like they've gotten a lot of it in motion or mostly figured out already. I may of missed it, but did they give an idea of how long it would be for the finished product? As for if this could lead into some new or retooled GI Joe product? That would be so awesome. Even if it was as little as just a source of getting some new or unreleased figures made. Of course, I'm guessing they'll wait to see how this Sail Barge thing works out before extending this to other properties. Hopefully by the time JoeCon rolls around(and if Hasbro show up there), someone can ask them about the possibility of HasLab expanding to GI Joe. Maybe that's part of their plan as a future club replacement? Who knows? It's interesting to think about at least.

I dont know if he has the parts you need, but AVACSLAB is awesome. I've ordered from him a couple of times and its always fairly quick. The quality is great and he throws in extras too.
I need to contact him about getting something cast and copied for his inventory. I have a badass little pump shotgun that I'm sure people would love as a trench gun for their ww2 marauders. So I got a message back from Vorts but it doesn’t look good. Sounds like I’m going to be waiting a long time for the stuff. I forgot all about AVACs. I will take a look and see if I can find anything there. Has anyone ever seen any caster that does they Frag Viper gear?

There are some great products being shown at Toyfair. I’m excited to see Star Wars TVC coming back. Those have always been their best imo.

This is a great move on Hasbro’s part! That sail barge looks unreal and if I had 4 feet of room to spare you can bet I’d be backing this. This opens up so many more possibilities for the company and if they make moves to do GI Joe products, I will definitely support it! Here’s to the Flagg 2022!!!

I made a custom of Frag Viper using the vintage parts. You should just get a vintage one and mod the gear. I just scored a joe con Frag Viper for $20. I plan on making a custom out of it. I just checked back and the seller has sold out.

Pretty sure vorts pushed a bunch of orders back to accommodate his holiday sales, as he promised orders placed by s certain date would ship before Christmas, but apparently that didn't apply to existing orders.

I just checked back and the seller has sold out. Yeah I’ve been considering just going with the vintage gear but I could swear I saw one on a caster site before. Nice score picking one up at $20. I have the con set but really didn’t want use the real parts since those sets costs so much. Quote:
I just found the email! It was broken arrow toys and an order I placed 3 years ago.

I got some stuff from broken arrow a little while back at a swap meet. It was crazy expensive and once I got home to really inspect it it was junk. He sucks.
