My Target is still sitting on about 80+ (I really should attempt to count them all one day, just for a laugh), of those Jurrasic Park Ford Explorer TRex sets. If you haven't seen this post from me before, this has been going on for a full year or more. They refuse to clearance them, and just keep moving them from one section of the store to another. At various points they have been: On a pallet at the entrance, in the baby section, in the electronics section, sporting goods, and now are in the grocery section. Yep, a full shelf/wall of the exact same giant Jurrasic world sets, all up next to the potato chips. Still priced at $50.

I just found out that FIFA 2023 lets you play as the fictional AFC Richmond squad from Ted Lasso. It apparently even includes the coaching staff and the star players, and looks just like them! I haven't played FIFA in a few years, but I had to buy the game as soon as I heard. Super excited.



(Yeah, yeah, y'all hate soccer, etc. No worries, should be my last post about soccer for a long while).

Awesome. Walmart delivered mine today. It'll probably take a few days before I find the time to actually dig into it. AFC Richmond is supposedly located in the "Rest of the World" section of teams. I tend to play these sports game like an old timer, Offline Franchise mode. However, with FIFA, I usually just create a offline custom tournament and do my own thing. Basically, still gaming like an old timer, but doing a tournament as opposed to a franchise. I probably need to preemptively purchase a new controller. There's something about the juke moves in soccer, that my thumbs break the joy sticks.



They say this new version also has women's teams. No idea if you can play a women's squad vs a men's, or put women players on a men's team.

Right on all of that has me more interested in the game now. We do for the most part the off-line tournament set up too.
