As a guy that's about as minimal as one can be and still collect this shit, I get it. It's why I tend to clear out secondary collections every so often, will give away or sell anything I don't have room to display, and refuse to allocate more than a wall or so to toys.

I made sure to be married before I had a toy room- which is also my home office is offset from the rest of the house in a mother-in-law suite. And I do let my kids play with much of the toys, so it's not just for looks.

I also cycle through stuff. I moved on from my o-rings and replaced them with ME. Likewise, my POTF Star Wars is long gone. I don't just accumulate indefinitely. Although, I think a huge part of my collecting is customizing. Not sure how my reflections would change if I gave that up.

Not me man. I dont need someone telling me where i can put things, how much i can put where and such. My front room is my toy/game room/home office and i also have my wall o pool behind my tv and a buncha figs in my bedroom as well. Just me and the cats and i wouldnt have it any other way.
