I normally use testors or Vallejo but I'm thinking about switching. What do you use?

I have a couple Citadel, Testors, and Reaper brand. I have an Army war paints starter pack that came with 10 colors that I have been using. I got some other brand stuff called liquitex. They have a killer black gloss I like to use.

Range, do you like the war paints? I have been thinking between those and citadel, which do you prefer?

Citadel is I think the best of the paint brands imo, but they are pricey. I am really digging the dropper bottles on the Army paints. I prefer them to the little tub. The Army paints pack was like $30. I think they all work well. I am not enough of a pro to really see the difference. I will say the Army Paints flat white is a complete fail. It comes out chalky and clumpy. It might make a good primer, but that is it. The flat black is really nice. I painted the drone using it. What I have noticed is that the Army paints and the Reeper will flake off easier than the citadel. The citadel seems to stick to the figures better. I only have skin tone testors and have not used it much so I can't compare that paint to the rest, but I have heard they are the best.

Sweet, I think I may try the war paints. I'm a big fan of the dropper bottles too. I really like testors but I have been eyeballing the war paints for a while. I think I may pull the trigger. Thanks bro!

I am pretty happy with them. I painted my Misfit using them. The results are pretty good. There is also a bunch of youtube videos of people painting miniatures with them.
