I'm doing alright. I've been a bit more relaxed now that my daughter's big birthday bash has come and gone. (and no one got Covid from it!!) Got the A/C guy coming on Thursday to finally look at my central AC. Gotta get it back in shape before the long summer hits (it's well on it's way, as you I'm sure know). Also starting to think about vacation this year and where I want to travel. Definitely leaving Florida this year, since we didn't last year.

My wife is actually eyeing the Florida Keys and Dry Tortugas this summer, but I don't know, we'll see. If we do that she'll definitely want to fly to St. Croix in the Virgin Islands to visit her birthplace and family. |

Yeah we're preparing for hurricane season. Getting all the little survival gear and looking to invest in a generator that will at least run my AC, refrigerator and deep freezer if we ever lose power.

I remember thinking, oh, it's just a little past Miami. Pssshhhhh. It's all one lane down there, 35 miles an hour. I think it took me 6+ hours to get from the Orlando area to midway into the Keys.

Good planning Beach. I now have two packages shipped from eBay sales that are stuck without updates for a week. Two others were and popped up today as delivered. It seems that this is happening randomly in different areas without a pattern. I’m sure they will show up but I’m going to message buyers that there are delays.

Yes, just this past weekend I poured all my 5-month-old gas into my truck and now have to refill all my tanks again (hate doing this shit, there doesn't seem to be an easy way to pour gas into a vehicle without getting it all over the place. I've used funnels, etc) That way I have about 20 gallons of fresh gasoline ready to go should I need to use my generator.

I'd hate to be stuck in slow moving traffic on those long ass bridges. |
