Ok so I am about to blow a gasket. First, Duke wont make me a cherry snocone, then i go to the store to get salsa and they don't have my brand, then i try to get gas and the place is full cause its 1.91 a gallon. I just need gas man. Just damn gas. Then my lawn mower was out of gas and the can empty so i had to go get gas anyway, then my weed eater string ran out and i had to go get more cause my box of spools was empty. I mean what the fuck guys? What in the fuck?!?!/!?!?!?!?

I've tried about 5-6 different reset methods that i found online and nothing is working. Sucks.

Well, my 55 inch TCL TV went black on me Saturday night, and it's only 2 years old (or possibly less). That sweet spot where it's past the warranty, but still way too soon for it to have broken. (I have a 50 inch Panasonic flat screen from 2010 that's still going strong).

In my experience there's a 99% chance it's a blown capacitor. Put on your big boy pants, open up the TV case, fish out your boards, and look for a swollen capacitor. You can usually find the bad one just by looking at them but you may need to use a meter if nothing jumps out at you. Anyway, once you find a blown capacitor, de-solder and remove it and replace it with a fresh one (which will need to be soldered into place, of course). Put everything back where it was, close up the case, and let your wife know how manly and capable you are.
I've watched some YouTube videos on the possible repairs necessary. I'm not taking this thing apart. Probably sell it off in eBay with local pickup, let someone else work on it. Thanks.
