In other news, a gentleman I did Tae Kwon Do with died. Cause is still unknown. He was a British black belt in mid forties with a young boy. One of the nicest men there and could keep up with the best of them.

Okay, so suppose you marry a widow who already has a grown up daughter, and your father marries the widow's grown up daughter. Now the widow's daughter becomes your mother. Ah, okay! I would have been trained by the likes of you had I stayed in and gone for Staff Sgt. Rank was slower to come by when I got out (in ‘97), and then about a year later, they started passing it out like candy, heh.

How long have you been in? I was in Minot, ND all my years, short of training my first 4 months (Basic and Security Police Tech school @ Lackland, Air Base Ground Defense @ Ft. Dix).

I kind of remember learning those around that age. I wasn’t very good at it back then, haha. How is it teaching children at that age? I’ve considered teaching after my time in the military.

Yeah rank is a little bit easier to achieve for the first few ranks now. It depends on what’s happening on the few years before and after a testing cycle like when they downsized the AF rank was difficult for some for a couple years. Then they wanted to “grow” the force and everyone was making rank.

I’ve been in since ‘05. I came in as a Cardiopulmonary/Respiratory Therapist and now currently in the special duty for a few more years. I haven’t been to Minot but I’d actually like to be stationed there. Everyone says I’m crazy for that. Spent years at Lackland for my first duty assignment.
