So I just learned, when you call your mortgage lender, car lender, utilities, credit card company, etc, for help due to loss of income they cannot help you. If you just say that you lost income, have been out of work, been laid off, whatever, they cannot help you. Once you say, "I have no income due to the Coronavirus", that's the key word they need to hear to enact their new policies, defer payments, halt late fees, etc. And apparently, they can't coach you to say it. You have to say it yourself. So this is just an FYI for those that may need this info. Companies now have these policies in place already. If you need them, use them!

The stimulus package wording appears to say we have to be able to show it too. Employer has to give you a letter stating income lost or something like that.
