I feel a Florida shut down coming soon. I wonder if accounting is considered an essential service. I mean, people need to get their pay checks, right?

Of course. But as far as the company I work for is concerned, their accounting personnel are making sure that we get our pay checks and they're working from home.

Nothing like waking up Sunday morning to an unexplained power outage. Hope they get it turned back on soon, or it's going to get real hot real fast. Supposed to be like 91 today. Might have to get my generator out. I have a ton of food in the fridge/freezer, in preparation of a lockdown.

Homer Simpson tried that in an episode on the Simpsons. He attached a tent to the fridge door and hung out in the tent..... Then the fridge broke.

As soon as I got the generator, and extension cords out and ready to go, boom, power back on. It was out about 4 hours total. The cause is under investigation.
