I’m not understanding the toilet paper thing. Stores are not selling out of it, but you can tell people are buying it in bulk. I do not wear a mask. I am washing my hands a lot more and trying my best not to touch my eyes, nose, or mouth. My wife did go out in the middle of the night for groceries two nights ago and found a full stock of everything. She is more concerned than I am, but she is concerned about me and her mom. I am concerned about my mother as well. She is pushing hard for me to telework (I work for one of the 3 letter federal agencies) and I am pushing for her to telework (she works for the university), but neither of us are giving on it. I will probably start telework on Monday given the declared national emergency and the case rate in MN has almost doubled today (expecting that number to climb over the weekend). She went out and stocked up on food only because she is convinced I will get sick due to my situation and we will be self quarantined for two weeks (honestly if I get it, I most likely will be hospitalized). I am generally healthy despite my underlying condition. I do not have heart problems/diabetes/etc, but I do have an autoimmune disease that is currently in remission, but something like this can get me sick and affects me more than a ‘healthy person’ if I do catch it. People should be concerned about this, but I agree that the tp and sanitizer buying is a little crazy. I do understand why the crass jokes being made, but this is serious to some of us so the jokes about dying when that is a possibility can be a little rude, but whatever? If I punch my tot jet and my wife doesn’t want to go through the hassle of selling my toy room off, I nominate Itch, BeachheadMatt, and even Yeet (even though we had some words a few months ago, you are a cool dude and only a state away) dibs on the collection. If anyone is into Volkswagens, a O.G. R32 and mk7.5 GTI will be available for the right price when she sells those. ;) |

Are you coming for work or vacation? This is a weird time of year for MN. You should come in June before it’s hot and the trees are in full bloom. 2 hours north of Minneapolis is a beautiful place to be in the summertime.

I've only heard the toilet paper sell outs are because people are planning on staying indoors and not using public or store restrooms and they don't want to run out. But here is the toilet paper shelves at my local Walmart. The other side looks the same as well as the paper towels. You can see the paper towel shelves at the very end of the aisle.

The Dasani thing is funny. Apparently people are buying metric tons of bottled water, but not buying Dasani and/or buying Dasani if it’s the only and last choice. |

That's right! My daughter found bottled water today and it's Dasani. I don't know what the reasoning is. One of my concerns is that if we go on lockdown at work and I have to be there for 30 days will my wife and kids have the essential items available?

Florida public school spring break just got extended an extra week.

Dasani is usually over priced.
