Morning Dudes! And Itch you did the right thing letting it go, unless you knew how to care for it and gave it a loving home and comfortable life for the rest of its days

Haha yeah baby! Funny you should say that because I am seeing all kinds of spring time critters that will perish when the next freeze comes. I’m trying to make a warming nest for a family of rabbits that took up a home by my shop.

For a flower bed or landscaping, Treflan. There is a product called "Andersons Turf Product" with 5% Treflan. You cant get it at a box store though, but a lot of landscaping companies have it. Its 80 bucks a bag (granular) but it is safe (if you are careful) around plants in landscaping.
If you are talking weed preventer for your lawn, the best I have seen and used is Scotts Turf Builder. You can get that at a box store and it just goes in your spreader. I found it works just as good if not better then having a pro lawn company come out for treatment. It will lick the dandelions and crabgrass within about a week. I typically will apply in early March, then you just redo it about every 4 weeks. If you get into a time with little rain though, you either need to cut it back to about 6-7 weeks or just water the hell out of your yard.
