Any of you guys ever get into scale modelling?

Never did, but I was in a shop in St. Louis once that specialized in scale modeling. It was amazing. I'm afraid I have not the patience nor the steady hand. Since you asked, I figure either you have or are wanting to. Whatcha got in mind brother?

I did as a tween. I remember doing a sweet-ass paint wash on a Millenium Falcon model that made a local girl I was sweet on laugh her ass off when I brought it to school for an arts n crafts day we held, forever locking in my virginity all through High School!

I've been doing them off and on since I was a kid. I was looking for a specific kit, was just wondering if maybe you guys had a good local shop. Also I'm having trouble finding some measurements, I want to build a Joe scale F-4 but I'm not sure if a 1/32 will be right. I know I will have to modify the cockpit to be a 1 seater, but not sure how it would measure up to a skystriker or rattler.

I gave a "book report" type of presentation as a Junior in High School on Star Trek... that didn't help one bit.

The kid after me was a deep sea Abalone diver and brought samples of the sea creatures he harvested and pictures of him in his dive shorts, no shirt, golden tan... and his harpoon gun (pre-Columbine) used to spear fucking sharks and Poseidon himself... and the girls were drooling over the Greek God that was the 16 year old guy. That's Northern California High Scool for ya!
