Adventure Con and Heroes Con was a blast. I wanted to post this info sooner but I had a technical issue with my camera but that has been resolved.
Adventure Con (Knoxville TN) This show was a blast from beginning to end. The thing that stood out for me was 1- the fans came out in droves and 2- the costumes........some of the best were here; these guys do not play around. The guest list rocked and there were plenty of artist at hand for signing. Ray Park was there along with Dave Prowse (Darth Vader), James Dodd (Johann Krauss in Hellboy II), Lou Ferrigno (Hulk), Jake Busey (Starship Troopers & The Frightners), William Katt (The Greatest American Hero), Mick Foley (Wrestler), Kane Hodder (Friday the 13th). For a small con this was awesome! I had a chance to speak with the artist who draws the G.I Joe Origins covers (Feister) and I must say he is a stand up guy with a ton of talent! He is a serious Joe fan and if you ever get to meet him, do it....you will not be disappointed. The costumes were awesome, I only wished I had taken my camera on Saturday as that day was the costume parade. There was a girl dressed up like Bumble Bee and it was spot on! A true masterpiece of a costume. Also this show had an excellent mix of toys and comics. There were plenty of deals to be had. Of course we had the best selection (Outer Rim Collectibles) and the best prices. If anyone has an opportunity to go to this con, do it.......it's that damn good. Heroes Con (Charlotte, NC) was this past weekend and as always, it was fun. This show is predominantly comics which is cool as I was able to score 95% of my New Mutants run. The costumes were great but there were not as many here as compared to Adventure Con. This show did bring some comic book legends to town and I wish I could have met those guys but the lines were tough and I had to get back to the booth. I did meet the regular Joe artist Robert Atkins. He too is a stand up guy and I was lucky enough to purchase a print from him. Overall, both shows were fun but Adventure Con was the best For the fans who stopped by our booth at either con, I must say thank you for the support and I hope to see you guys again. Also a big thanks goes out to Siddarth, you my friend are insane! *Adventure Con pics end with the clone trooper; Heroes beings with Storm Shadow |

The Greatest American Hero and the Delorian were there?! That's phenomenal.
Thanks for the pics, both shows sound awesome. Glad you had a good time. Was the girl dressed as original Bumblebee or movie Bumblebee? Would have loved to see that.

All that stuff is inventory for the Outer Rim Collectibles (one of our sponsors), I was there to lend a hand and keep an eye on things.
