"Whoa" is thee exact word I said myself. Its a cool museum opening very soon! So start asking people around base about it, soon, before all the jobs fill up; theatre, gift shop, or food court. Make a few friendly calls to phone numbers found in your base's website; letting them know your a "brat" seeking a part-time job or volunteer "work" at this cool new museum. http://www.clarksvilleonline.com/tag...iberty-museum/ Since you already enjoy reading G.I. Joe comics, like the Scarlett & Snake Eyes love story; you'll very much enjoy the real G.I.'s love letters to sweethearts and family back home. You can enjoy a part-time or volunteer job in the museum's ongoing "Project Letter Home." Let them know you enjoy growing up reading G.I. Joe love stories, comics, and have a real G.I. Joe for a father. If you can't get a job, maybe you can build volunteer experience just reading and gathering more "letters home." It can double as a school project. Colleges appreciate that "work" you can put on your application. Stay in school! Why not hit two birds with one stone? Example; need to write a school paper? Write about the G.I. stories you'll find in "letters home." You already enjoy similar stories in G.I. Joe comics; so why not get work, school, and volunteer credit reading real G.I. stories? This can be as fun as a teacher assigning you a book report on your favorite G.I. Joe comic stories! Yet this time, the stories in these letters will be real. Who knows? Maybe this experience will lead you to a community college degree in history or museum studies, or conservation.
