It was announced that Saban brands will be pulling the plug on its Vortexx programming block this fall. Upon which time, there will be NO action cartoon blocks available on broadcast television, PERIOD.
Which is why I continue to assert anyone that insists a new GI Joe cartoon needs to be "on a broadcast station everyone gets" is damned idiot. Vortexx will be replaced by a block called "One Magnificent Morning", an E/I centric block of programming targeted at teens and families. http://www.toonzone.net/2014/05/excl...-plug-vortexx/ So the only viable means of seeing new action cartoon content will be cable, satellite, or this new fangled "internet" with that "streaming" stuff.

Saturday Morning Cartoons died at the turn of the Century. The '80s were the best, I remember watching cartoons on Saturdays from 7:00am til noon on the Big 3 Networks, '90s was mostly Fox & WB. It actually died when they started showing live action shows and cartoons that were just dubbed/watered down Japanese cartoons. Now it's all sports and infomercials. TV in general just plain sucks these days.

wow this is sad indeed. Kids today will never know How good it really was back then. TV nowadays is a bunch of crappy reality tv shows which is just an excuse to put a bunch of people that act like animals. It seems like every channel now has some drunk girls fighting over and over again. Tv in general is dead.
