So I am taking the hockey team I coached to Paintball on the 7th and I want to buy my own gun, preferably one that I can unload a nice can of whoop ass on these little punks. lol ..
So anyone who knows these things .. Spyder? Tippman? Killhouse? The gun just has to be HPA. ;) its better for the gun and free at the place we are going lol. Any help would be awesome. Thanks!

I'd go Tippmann, I had a spyder years ago and it would chop balls like a food processor. Tippmann are super reliable and pretty accurate. Or just be a baller and buy an e-Oracle or angel....

Can't go wrong with a Tippmann. I've used them since the old full metal Pro-Am and SL-68 days, that just made me feel very old. The old Pro-Lite will always be my favorite, but it's a big dinosaur or model T compared to what they have now. I haven't played much in the last few years, been playing paintball since 1993.
I have a few friend and family with Spyders, they're great for volume of fire but not so much for being accurate. It's more of a spray and pray kind of gun. But the newest Tippmann's can do both. They make a good solid paintball gun. Something else to consider is what kind of matches are you going to be playing the most ? Speedball, woods ball or other wise long range shooting. You'll want to get a gun that's best for the ranges you'll be playing at. |

I know this is a bit of an old thread, but I just played for the first time in a LONGGG time and am itching for more. My wife is too, which is pretty cool.
So Tippmann's are good, eh? Any particular models? There seem to be some good package deals on Amazon. I imagine I'll be playing woods ball for the most part, at least to start. Are there any good/popular paintball forums like the 'Tank?
