I keep a lot of cool stuff in my office at work. Not a cubicle and by far one of the larger offices here. Anyway I have had over 100 joes on the wall and then opened on a book shelf and no one bothered them. I even had close to 1000.00 worth of skateboards up that no one touched. With that said why in the hell would anyone steal a 7.00 loose terminator figure? It was the t-rip and they didnt even bother with the guns!
Now I hae three figures up on my shelf and it sucks to think off all the valuable stuff I have had up in the past few years that some one would take something like that. Anyone else experience that? |

Yep, if you can lock your office, do so, if you are unable to, purchase a logitech camera, setup motion detection.

Maybe it gained self-sentience and walked off?
But yeah, that sucks, and is weird why someone would pick that item. Locky McLockLock the Door.

First, why take toys to work? Especially that many. I'm sure if you bring this up, it may even be made a memo to NOT bring such items to the workplace.
Secondly, maybe it was a joke that somebody is playing or played and didn't bother to return the figure. Either way, I would NEVER take toys to my job, if I had one. Too many untrustworthy people out there to leave stuff I like easily obtainable. |

Anyone else experience that? 1.) That someone would come into your office and take something that does not belong to them 2.) That you work with someone so stupid that they would take a terminator fig when you had a whole cache of better stuff in there

wow.. make a police report bro. so what if it's a 7 dollar item. stolen property is stolen property , no matter the worth. if you make a report , it will stop future events from happening. an it's obviously some who works there, be it co worker or cleaning service in the after hrs. i would make a report, an make note to all in the building that something was stolen. dont be descrete about it, that only shows you are weak an have no back bone an is easy to get over on.. make it known to all. just my .02

given what you said about the sitch, could it perhaps have been either a cleaning person mishap (got bumped into a roving wastebasket or something of the like) or somebody brought a kid? taking only the one thing and not even taking the accessories doesn't really seem like "thieving"...

the real crime here, lets be honest, is the price you paid for that small toy.

This is true, I couldn't bring myself to buy any of the terminator toys.
