My in-laws are great... her two older sisters, on the other hand, are complete freaking moronic, idiotic, bitches.

My in laws rock.
My father in law passed away but damn he was awesome, just the ultimate gripy old man. For some reason he took to me though so we would just sit around and gripe about stuff. If I didn't come up to see my wife when we were dating he would ask where I was. My mother in law is a true horror fan. We would swap movies to watch and now that she lives with us we tell each other about a new movie on demand worth watching. The funny thing is you would not peg her for that type. She is like the loving grandmother that looks out for everyone and then watches all these messed up scary movies. Both of my brother in laws are cool too. One stcks to himself and does not speak much but once you get use to it he is cool. The other one lived with me a few years before I got married. We get along great as well. I don't think I could handle having in laws I could not get along with. My parents suck so I don't even talk to them so I don't expect my wife to either. She tried to make things cool between all of us but she too realized they were douche bags. |

My wives father died when she was 13, never met him, so can't say much for him. My mother in law is a very nice person, she took us both to Paris for a week and paid for it, very cool. Not to mention she allows me to check for Joes when we are out and about(much to the disgust of my wife) and lets me check my fantasy scores obsessively without passing judgement. Other than the extra gin at night she doesn't need(I'm sure we all have that) I have no complaints. I am lucky.

Rodney was a genuis Easy Money is second only to Caddyshack in his work. God, I miss him.....................:( Being on my now second set of in-laws, I don't recommend them or marrige anymore for that matter either. :( I'll give my I/Ls this much, they are not THAT bad (and MUCH better than my first set (my first I/Ls - think Simpsons meet the Bundys, but WORSE as far as disfunctional :O ), but we still have our "issues" either way. :( Same thing w/ marrige, I LOVE my children more than anything and world and would kill for or give my life for them w/o even THINKING, but I can tell you for SURE this is my last marrige one way or another. :( I'm not saying don't be w/ someone ,or have a relationship, or not start a family or anything like that, I'm just saying to anyone thinking about getting hitched (ESPECAILLY YOU YOUNG PEOPLE), think looooooooong and hard before you do! I know it sounds stupid when people say two little rings and a piece of paper can wreck a good thing, but the can and the DO. :( It's hard to explain if you either don't get it or haven't been there, and again I'm not saying there all bad and there aren't some marriges out there that DO work out, b/c there are, I'm just saying in my experience from everyone I know and all around me they are few and far between. I figure I know maybe less couples than I can count on one hand that REALLY happily married and it works for them, but they still have their problems too. MY parents and neither set of my I/Ls are one of them, and neither is my current one. :( HTH

in laws are cool (rather neutral on them) but why the hell does my sister in law have to be involved in everything we do?
