It just backs up the other stuff I've read about seeing apparitions, and it being cold randomly, and hearing voices there at the TRU.
I don't care the explanation, if it's real or not, it is still creepy as shit. Talking dolls are creepy anyways. Especially a whole aisle of them, talking all at once.

I just read the TRU story that is pretty crazy! Now that I think about it there was one instance when something kind of weird happened, but it didn't directly happen to me.
One night a few years ago when I was living in Vegas, my girl and I were having drinks on our balcony/patio and after about two drinks (neither one of us were the least bit buzzed or anything) she said she had to go to the bathroom, we both walked in the house and I went into the kitchen and started mixing us both a couple more jack and cokes. I could hear her talking in there so I kinda yelled "What did you say" the next thing I know she screams at the top of her lungs "Jay, where the f*ck are you" I go running over there and she was a little rattled to say the least. She said that right after she sat down in the bathroom (the light was off) she thought she saw me walk right past the bathroom door and into our closet, so she started talking to me...then she heard me yell "What did you say" from clear across the house in the kitchen and that's when she got freaked out about who walked past her and into the closet because she said she knows for a fact she saw something...obviously there was no one in the closet, but it made for a very creepy rest of the night

My Dad died in a car accident when I was 4, and my mom had a stillborn child between me and my sister, a year or so before my Dad died, but not many of my friends knew this, as my mom remarried, and by the time I was in high school, everyone knew I had one sister, and my mom had a new husband who adopted me as his own son.
Anyways, that's the setup for understanding why this is creepy. My friend Matt dated this girl who we just thought was a little "off", but she swore that she saw dead people, and Matt was actually so freaked out by it that he didn't like for her to talk about it while he was around, because he'd witnessed weird shit with her first hand. Anyways, we were drinking at my parents' house while they were out of town, the summer after graduation, and Matt brings over this crazy girl, and she starts talking about how my house is haunted. She said she sensed a male parent figure, who gave off a vibe that he'd been removed from the house before his time, and was sticking around because he felt he'd been replaced by a new family, and there was also a baby present, a very, very young child spirit. Well, the girl knew nothing about my past or my family's past, and I'll admit, that freaked me out a whole damn lot for her to know such specifics, or to even "hit" on them randomly by guessing. The house was built by my parents, so nobody else had lived there before us, and my mom remarried when I was 7, and my kid sister she had with my new adoptive Dad. Which is what really freaked me out about what she said. Not to mention, as a kid, I'd recall hearing my name being called by a man, and there'd just be me and my mom in the house. My grandfather lived next door though, so sometimes we'd attribute it to that. Anyways, that creeped me way the hell out. I mean, at worst, if any of it's real and not just nonsensical ramblings of a nutjob teen girl, it's the ghost of my dad and kid brother, so I guess it's not like a serial killer ghost or anything. Haha. But still, the fact that she hit on those specifics, whether coincidence or not, was creepy enough on its own. Last edited by Mandingo Rex; 03-24-2009 at 04:12 PM.. |

I have a friend that is a Medium/Psychic for a living and he never dissapoints. I've seen him in action on others and myself enough to know he does what he says he can do.

But yea, that was what weirded me out. Had it happened say, in junior high and all my friends were aware, that'd be one thing... But for it to happen so long ago... Weird as shit. Oh, I almost believe the girl. The only thing that has me doubting is she and Matt dabbled in coke, (not the refreshing cola kind) and would sometimes just say weird shit. But the fact that she was so spot-on with that, and Matt vouched for weird things when he swears they weren't high, that I can maybe understand why she had a coke habit to begin with. Haha. |

I have no doubt there are strange happens that occur that may have to do with spirits of those passed, I've heard tales from people I've known who would never lie about such things, I've even experienced very minor things briefly in the past.
As for these ghost shows on tv, I gotta call b.s. on them. What I don't get is why do they still use the old twinkling flashlight gimmick? Those shows are just terrible and pretty damn silly half the time hah, but I guess folks get a kick out of them regardless of whether they buy it or not. Doesn't bother me really. Here's a couple related tales, years back I was dating this girl and during our relationship, her grandfather unfortunately passed away who she was very close to. During this time I experienced a very odd feeling around my home, and I hadn't even known about my girlfriend's grandfather passing away yet. Later on she gave me the bad news, and I talked to her about the odd feelings I had been having recently and she told me that when she last saw her grandfather she had intended to tell him about us, when she saw him in the hospital she couldn't keep herself from crying and he asked her what was on her mind but she was too overcome to tell him after all. I asked her if she thought it was possible he was checking in on me, I believe it was that same night I had that feeling again like I wasn't alone in my room and I stood up and walked around my room and asked out loud "okay..if you are here..show me something." and at that very second a figure I had on the top of a shelf fell over. About a year or so later her aunt passed away, and she told me how at her aunt's house a strange image that was practically a dead on copy of her aunt's face had appeared on the wall in the dining room. It upset her niece and nephew so much they had to paint over it. Last edited by CallMeRotten; 03-24-2009 at 05:04 PM.. |

Many times especially if they or their families don't understand or appreciate their gifts they use drugs to help them cope with it and or give them an excuse for it. "I'm not hearing things, I'm just High." etc. Even a lot of the ones that are now successful once had these issues.
