Well, Although I'd love to be able to do something kick @ss like give a defiant or a mega shopping spree away...I'm not that "big" yet, lol. So, the winner will receive a $20.00 credit to my store! (This amount can cover shipping as well, or you can spend the $20 on stuff...whatever floats "your" boat!). The Contest will run through Saturday, May 12th! So get to posting! The clock has started to run! |

My Entry (although I obviously can't win, of course, lol):
If I could choose only one 25th Anniversary figure, I think I'd shoot myself. Seriously though..I've put alot of thought in to this...and although there's a solid 10 figures I can't do without...and even though I'd just about kill for a IG Destro...I'd have to say the figure I want is.. Hit & Run When I first received Hit & Run, it was hard to put him down. He had tons of "playability" thanks to the duffle & rope, and I can still remember my mom getting ticked at me when she would go to water her plants and see that H&R has been "hiding" there...lol. His file card is awesome, his colors & mold are awesome, his gear is awesome. What else is needed? ;) |

Awesome contest! You dont have to enter me but I'll participate.
Hit & Run is an excellent choice. And there are so many others I could have picked. But after looking through all 300+ characters, Im going for Big Ben. A great character with an excellent sculpt. He had a big ass backpack and a grenade pouch, with grenades! Plus his name |

..... I am going to have to go with Trip-Wire. The guy really never got any respect in the community, cartoon, and a tiny bit in the commic.
I remmeber arming him with the AP Airborne M-16 and always pulling point looking for mines and trip wires. He was very nicely detailed and came with cool accesories. I just wish that his detector could have laid mines. Plus it looked like Cover Girl had a crush on him. ;) |

Tripwire is a good choice. He has a unique specialty that no other Joe has had.
A little side note on Tripwire. When I was younger alls I had was the TF Tripwire and now as an adult its the only version I dont have, besides Blades but he's a different character |

one of my all time favorite figures is dress blues gung ho. ive always loved the authnicity of the figure. with his sword and blues on and hat and all. my uncle was a marine hero (agent orange finally caught up with him about 10 yrs ago) and when ever i look at that figure it reminds me of my uncle. i would give my right hand if hasbro was to re-release it. maybe a tribute to the troops theme. I can see the packaging in my head with the original gungho with his sword raised on the front of the card and a marines seal on the back of the card. maybe include a sticker sheet replicating some medals that kids could put on there binders for school or wear them on there shirts. they could do one for the army, navy, and air force (and i have ideas for them all) and make it a sub set but this contest is just for one figure. so that is my entry.

Dress Blues Gung Ho was the first and only Gung Ho I had as a kid so he had a lot of play in my household. However, I'm going to have to say Lt. Falcon. A tough as nails trooper who led the Joes into some hairy missions in the comic book. Plus we've been cheated out of a new sculpt of him twice! (Star Brigade and DTC Wave 4)
