Just incase any of you were the miscreants in front of myself and my child today when I took her for lunch please take the time to read this below. If you are incapable of reading (and if you were the ones there today it is a safe bet that you are) then please have somebody read this to you and attempt to retain it in your feeble little mind.
1. Wait your turn in line. Don't cut in front of other people for that 35th slice of pizza. Let somebody who just got there take a turn. 2. Start at the end of the buffet and work your way down. Don't jump backwards, go back around. You are holding up the line and being rude. 3. There are no rules against going back again after you finish your plate so there is no need to pile everything 3 feet high on a 6 inch plate. 4. Resist the urge to scratch your nose, head or ass while in line. It is sick and rude 5. Use the serving utensils and/or tongs. Nobody wants to eat what you touch. 6. If you have children please keep them in check. Don't let them run around cutting people off and breaking all other buffet rules. This may be difficult because many of you haven't mastered them yourselves. 7. Keep the line moving. Don't pick something up with the tongs and sniff it then put it back shaking your head. If you don't know what it is or don't trust to eat it then move along. 8. Use a new plate when you go back. If more people would just follow these simple rules then going to a buffet may be a little more enjoyable. |

If it's your first night at buffet club you have to eat.
Buffet will go on as long as they need to. Only two combatants per plate.

I pick my nose in line and then I have the whole buffet.
B-U-F-F-E-T Big Ugly Fat Friends Eating Together. Is it pronounced Buffa or Buffet? Seriously, you had a bad day at the Buffet, didn't you, Echo?

It wasn't that bad. It is a quick and easy meal with a 4 year old who can't make up their mind. It isn't like I go to one often and there is a reason why. I wish more people had something close to social skills.

Golden Corral has [had possibly now] that chocolate fountain thing for while. I can't say that I ever went there to see one in person, but I know that at least one guy stood there next to it with a chicken leg just letting the chocolate flow over it, taking a bite and repeating...
Especially that one in North Carolina near where my sister lives. That's the one where half the place smelled like piss all the time. |

I had a uncle who got kicked out of a buffet for eating too many crab legs. They eventually took it off the menu.

the complete and utter lack of basic common courtesy and simple respect in this world today is one of many many reasons i have always chosen to not have kids and also always get food to go, its weird to me sitting in a big room surrounded by complete strangers eating food.

Good lord Echo, you could have just said something in the line instead of posting this on a TOY forum about TOYS. Next time you want to go on a rant like this, please make sure to post it in the BUFFET forum we're both part of. Have a great day!
