I've been collecting GI Joe since they first came out in 1982, but my real passion has been collecting something else. Something that's hard for me to admit to collecting. I kept them hidden under my mattress when I was a kid, then sneaked them from the store when I was a teen. You could say I was having fun at PLAY when I was a BOY. (you get me?)
I've been trying to get away from collecting them, but they keep drawing me back. Topless and wonderful, the color of their skin was fantastic to me, so smooth and perfect. But I had to keep them a secret. I was so embarrassed that I even hid them from my wife. Well, we were doing a little spring cleaning and she discovered the suitcase I kept them in. I tried despereately to keep them from her. I told her they were only old things from my past, I was going to get rid of them. A huge fight! She felt betrayed that I spent money on that stuff. We're talking marriage ending stuff here because I'm additcted, I can't get rid of them. I love my Smurfs... Last edited by Xerofall; 04-01-2013 at 04:04 PM.. |

I think calling a Real Doll that you dyed blue a "smurf" a little dishonest...

Annoyed that you spent money on Smurf figures? Sure. But "betrayed"? That's a little over the top. It's not like you're sleeping with her sister. Now THAT'S betrayal! Last edited by Cobra Terrorist; 04-01-2013 at 06:27 PM.. |
