Not quite sure where this should go...so it fell under general discussion.
I'm looking to see how people here store the MOC Joes in boxes. I have mine on a wall. But with me shrinking my collection to accomodate my Transformers and the fact all those carded joes on a wall looks tacky I wanted to store them in boxes. Not quite sure what kind of box to use. I wanted to basically store them standing up with 2 together front facing front so the bubbles are beside eachother. Thanks for the help !

For the most part, many of mine are hung on the wall kinda like a border around the room. The extras and troop builders i have safely stored in computer paper boxes and that seems to work really well...

I keep mine in those long comic book storage boxes. They are the same ones that comic book stores use. In fact that this where I picked up mine from. You can store them "standing up with 2 together front facing front so the bubbles are beside eachother" just as you mentioned.

Just so I can give you a general idea of the room here's some pics.
If I didn't have so many McFarlane Goalies the top of the wall border would be a good idea. As you can tell room is a concern lol. But the printer boxes is a good idea...as I am currently standing next to a mound of printer boxes.

I've heard that if you're in a humid place that the adhesive, over time, will start to lose it's adhesiveness and can some times fall off. As well as the taped ones, like the VvV line. I rain into that problem. I've been told the best way to store them is to use airtight containers. Sterilite makes some.

I use comic bags and fold over front to tape. The container I made is like a modified comic box made out of acid free foam core and taped together with acid free tape. They nest together perfectly they way you want and plus you can even customize the box any way you want, I make mine to fit inside a giant zip lock bag to keep out humidity and each box fits 48! I am currently tring to figure how to zip-lock each card but zip seal is too cumbersome.

I have used several things, I like short comic boxes, they tale up less room, and you can put them on standard utility shelves. I just started to pick up some clear plastic totes that WM is clearancing out for about $5 each. I think these will do fine. Now I'm trying to find clear plastic tackle box trays to hold my loose figs.
