I'm definetly in the WW2 Camp, not that "The Great War" wasn't something to have lived through, but WW2 had a lot more than "No Mans Land" to experience, I know it would'nt of been pleasant in the least but those War movies make it look so damned romanticized...plus I'm a War History Buff.

As much as I love playing with my gi joes and having them fight Inhumanoids. Actual war is never pretty, and the loss of human life is not good.
But if we are approaching this from a romanticized perspective? I'd choose WW2. For some reason, I think Indiana Jones and nuclear bombs. That is some pretty cool stuff when it is integrated into fantasy. But war isn't fun either way. But do I enjoy watching WW2 stuff on History channel? I do. So WW2. |

Right, not Ignoring the pain and suffering, and tragic death of soldiers, I have nothing but the greatest respect for them, I'm just saying, in the Movies, they make it seem like such an adventure cause the protaganist usually survives and he sees such sights you kinda would, but also would'nt wanna see, and the comraderie between soldiers, it just looks so intriguing sometimes...plus knowing they'll never be a war quite like those two EVER AGAIN.

depends on the army I think. But in general WW2 youd probablly have a better chance of surviving.
