I am a PC guy.
You should have setup a poll for this type of thread.

Macs are expensive but I do not think they break down as much. I plan to buy the new HP touchscreen PC so I can have the best of both worlds.

PC all the way.
I work on 2 macs (a G4 and mini mac). a Mac is an ass backwards P.O.S. compared to a PC. What would take you 5 min. to do on a PC takes 30 on a mac. I'm not a fan but being in Graphic Design everyone thinks you need a mac. Whatever. I have had the same pc for about 4 years with only one crash. I have lost count of the amount of times my work macs have crashed causing me to lose everything I was working on. if you are on the fence consider this: The Mac mouse has no buttons.... |

How is that a bad thing? My Mighty Mouse at home has no button yet still performs the function of four buttons (plus a 3D scroll ball) through the virtue of Apple's unique multi-location click design. My mouse at work on the PC has two buttons and performs the function of *two* buttons. Hmmm...

I'm a graphic designer, and (imho) it pays to know both, so I run both, side by side. I've had nothing but problems with my PC, so the iMac was a breath of fresh air.

PC. I don't believe I've had significant interaction with an Apple/Mac product since Joe was out the first time.
