I use a mac because I'm cooler, smarter, better looking, better smelling, better fed, well dressed, pretentious, smarmy, aloof, a hipster, have better ideals, have a nicer pet, have nicer furniture, have better taste, am skinny, drink double skim lattes, drive a VW, ummm....oh yeah, and my shit don't stink!
Take that, BadWolf! Quote:
My shit is pretty damn stinky too... Otherwise, I agree with them completely. |

I love to go to the Apple Store with a white trash T-shirt on and swear loud and push into people while I am in there. Then I tell the sales people I love the way I can surf porn for hours on my Mac without the fear of Viruses!!! They get a frightened look on their face! Its priceless!!!!

PC of course! Ever try to build a high power low cost MAC? You can't! Ever try to tweak a MAC? Very little if anything you can change. Every had an accessory that didn't work on a MAC? You can almost always find a fix for it on PC. Like the interface on a MAC? Easily replicated on a PC. If you can afford a MAC, I think they're a good product but I can't afford one. I also like to play with a lot of rare accessories and they typically aren't supported on MAC.

Besides not liking MAC's operating system I also never liked how many (not all) MAC users have a Starbuckish attitude thing going on. I seen it too many times to dismiss it, I just do not get it. If anyone could explain it I am all ears. The MAC vs PC commercials really ring true to the users I know. I'll take the likable nerdy PC guy over the snotty, dirty looking MAC guy any day. I do have some nice MAC using friends but they all will not even entertain 30 seconds of thought of a PC being equal to a MAC. If you get the right PC it can easily match or surpass a MAC. Vice versa for MACs too. It all comes to personal preference, the playing field is level. With computers you truly get what you pay for. |
