The Official Abbreviations Thread...

I thought it would be a neat idea to list and describe all of our commonly used abbreviations here at the tank. I think it will be useful for new members as well as some old timers that have always wanted to know but were to embarrassed to ask. I will update this first post and list all of our abbreviations as often as i can. So if you have some that you want to throw out, feel free to contribute...Thank you...

EDIT...Thanks to a suggestion by my good friend 245am, i have split the list in JOE/HISSTANK/TOY related abbreviations and General abbreviations heard around the internet...

GI JOE, HISSTANK, AND TOY RELATED ABBREVIATIONS...

HTS = Hasbro Toy Shop
BBTS = Big Bad Toy Store
PM = Private Message
MOC = Mint On Card
WIP = Work In Progress
MIB = Mint In Box
OOP = Out Of Package or Out Of Print
EE = Entertainment Earth
SE = Snake Eyes
SS = Storm Shadow
CC = Cobra Commander
RnR - Rock 'n' Roll
RB = Road Block
TF = Tiger Force or Transformers
PP = Python Patrol
SRO = Senior Ranking Officers
NCO = Non-Commissioned Officer
LMK = Let Me Know
ARAH = A Real American Hero

VVV = Valor Vs. Venom

LMAO = Laughing My Ass Off

TTYL = Talk To You Later
LOL = Laughing Out Loud or Lots Of Laugh
IIRC = If I Remember Correctly
FWIW = For What It's Worth
JK = Just Kidding
IMO = In My Opinion
IMHO = In My Humble/Honest Opinion
JK or J/K = I'm Joking
FTW = For The Win
QFT = Quoted For Truth
JIC =Just In Case

These are just some things you might hear around the tank. Just some good things to know...

Bump = Bump is being able to move your post to the front page. But remember,
you are only allowed one per day...

Kota = A Triceratops released by Playschool. It was originally retailed at 299.00. It is over 2 and 1/2 feet tall and able to support a small child...

Bolo = Bolo is a custom Ninja that was available on Ebay. Someone from the tank saw the auction and Bolo fever began...

Fodder = Fodder is a word used to describe a toy that will be mainly used for parts. When you here the term custom fodder it will more than likely be used to frankenstein a figure made of different parts...
