Michael Keaton In 'Robocop,' Takes Role Once Pegged For Hugh Laurie I've seen most of those images, I'm wondering if they are going to go the Iron Man route for the look or more Transformers. I have a feeling that the helmet's visor slit/lower-half-of-face aesthetic and leg holster will be the only classic elements incorporated into the design, everything else is going to get a heavy makeover.

I have nothing to base this off of, but i think this movie will be brutal. Most of these 80's remakes have been terrible.

I agree. A lot of these 80s movie remakes focus too much on dark realism and take the fun out of it. The original Robocop was just plain fun. Cheesy music and loads of cheap gore and guys melting in toxic ooze. I guess some people don't like that stuff, but I'm not one of them.
