Sports cards seem to be the last of them.
What happened to the days of Comic book cards? garbage pail kids? and so on. Where did getting a pack of 10+ cards for $1 go? I go to target, walmart, TRU hoping to one day see a new series of Marvel Masterpieces, or Fleer Ultra. But no!!! All i get is ugi-o cards. When the hell did every single card series become some kind of god damn RPG game? Spiderman, Star Wars, X-Men everything is a damn card game now. And to top it off its like $5+ for a pack of 3 cards. WTF is going on here? ok rant is over. |

Marvel Masterpieces just re-started last year, you may have to go to your local Comic book shop to look for them but they are around.

Ugh, trading cards. I got sucked into that in middle school... now I have piles and boxes of stupid Marvel cards taking up space in my basement. Someone come pick these up....

I, too, used to collect all the Marvel/DC/Joe cards. Nothing these days, which to be honest is good. The less temptation I have to sollect something else the better. Now I have to find and dig up my old card collections and go thru the memories.

Garbage Pail Kids made a slight comeback in the early 2000's I think Topps stopped making them again to focus on the seemingly failed "Wacky Packages" cards
Sports cards are probably the only trading cards that will never stop. They're like Hot Wheels that way |

Hate to say this but comics are falling behind too. Closes comic shop around here is 1 hour. Then the next one is 3 hours.
