Normally i like this show for the plane fact that they investigate something to disprove a haunting and "debunk" peoples claims, but this live show is a huge joke.
Several times tonight i have seen the crew being told to stand on cue and then they kind of assume a position then someone says "go" and then they start acting like they have been talking all along. WTF?? Then earlier they supposedly heard a voice. It sounded like someone hit the play button on a windows media file. It was so loud it totally drowned out everything, and the guys were acting like they heard a whisper. Then it cued up again and you could tell they tried to cover it up by going "oh yeah i just heard it again". fuckin weak sauce For a show set out to disprove actual hauntings, and give a "credible" voice to whats really going on with things this is very disappointing. |

Okay, here goes: This guy is eating dinner in a restaurant with his friend, and all of a sudden, two guys in suits show up at their table and flash police badges. They state that they are detectives with the police department, and need to speak with him privately. They take the guy to the side, and begin to ask him questions about his car. Detective: "Sir, do you drive a 1998 Honda Accord that is black?" Guy: "Yes, Yes I do. Why do you ask?" Detective: "Sir, Detective Smith and I are investigating a murder that occurred last night, and you vehicle has been identified as the perpetrator's vehicle. We need you to step outside so that we can search your car. Officer Jones has the warrant, here. (Presents warrant)." Guy: "Okay, but I didn't kill anyone. I was at my friend's house all night. You can ask them!" Officer: "Yes, Sir. Let's go examine the car for now." So the officers and the guy go down to the car, and they start inspecting the outside. Officer: "Yes, Sir. This vehicle meets the description and your license tag has been identified as the suspect's." Guy: "Look, guys, I swear to you. I was at my friend's house last night, and I didn't kill anyone! I promise!! (Guy was apparently really scared he was being accused of murder when he didn't do anything wrong)." Officer: "Okay, let's have a look in the trunk." Guy opens the trunk, and there is a dead body in the car complete with blood stains!!!! The look on the car owner's face was totally priceless. At this point, he starts yelling, "Oh, shit!!! I didn't kill anybody!!! Please, I didn't kill that guy!!! I don't know what is going on!!! Etc, etc, etc...." Officer calmly says, "Okay, Sir. We just need to examine the body then. Can you give us a hand with the body?" The motorist starts to comply, and the body suddenly comes alive and tries to grab the motorist's arm!!!! It was something straight out of Night of the Living Dead. The corpse goes, "RAAAH!" when he tries to grab the guy. The motorist freaks out and starts yelling, "Aaaah!!" and runs away!!! The officers then draw their guns, and start shooting into the vehicle trunk. The zombie then stops moving because it is finally "dead." By then, the motorist is totally petrified as to what he has witnessed. Then the guy's friend comes running out of the restaurant to tell him that he is the victim of a joke on the show "Scare Tactics" and that he was being filmed in secret. The guns that the officers drew were loaded with blanks to add to the effect. Anyway, I couldn't stop laughing for about 5-10 minutes after seeing that show. I hadn't laughed like that in years. I really started losing interest in the show. They haven't shown anything substantial that has proven a haunting. A few fuzzy sounds and some buzzes on a couple of machines haven't convinced me of anything. The only thing we get is some "did you feel that?" or "was that you?" comments. Complete BS.
Now that is some scary shit!!!!!!!!! |
