After about a half hour of use, it starts to whir louder than the sound coming out of the speakers. If I pause/stop/remove the movie, the whirring stops, obviously. But if I start up the movie again within 10 minutes of stopping, the drive whirs again right away. I have to let it cool down, or whatever, for over an hour - and even then, it's only a half hour of use before it starts making the damn noise again. The movie doesn't lag, my PC doesn't freeze. Nothing wrong happens, except that ridiculous noise.
