We all basically knew it was coming. It took Irsay long enough to just say what was on his mind.

I am SOOOOO sick of this story - and it's only gonna get worse. They'll be talking about the release, who's gonna get him, who does get him, Peyton in training camp, etc. etc. etc!

I'm a huge Packers fan and Brett Favre fan. I was upset when he retired. Then he came back and I was happy. Then he retired and I was happy that he was going away. Then he came back again and all hell broke loose. I got so damn sick of the story. My coworker is a vikings fan and even he got sick of Favre. Hopefully the Manning deal doesn't go through all the shenanigans that the favre deal did.

It's gonna be JUST like the Favre coverage. At least he hasn't retired and unretired yet.

IMO it will just be weird seeing Manning in any other colors besides blue and white. Still... I can picture it.
I CANNOT even imagine Tom Brady in a different uniform though... he better be a Patriot for life that one... I don't think I could handle both Peyton and Brady in different uniforms at the same time. LOL. Quote:
At least Manning has kind of earned all the attention IMO... unlike say... *cough* Tebow-mania *cough* Linsanity *cough* LOL. Plus, it wasn't even like Manning left... the Colts just didn't want him anymore. So IMO it is not really his fault.

Manning will not do what Favre did. He doesn't need the attention.
