I think I'm gonna see John Carter instead. It looks more realistic.

There no Godsmack playing in the background and James Earl Jones isnt narrating. FAIL.
In all seriousness though...it just a giant recruitment tool. Since its Hollywood, you know they're going to do things that just look cool and would never really happen in reality. Would have LOVED a documentary...but we all know the general public wont go watch it. They dont like to learn about facts...everything has to be sugarcoated. |

Damit I am probably going to think of you now and bust out laughing during the middle of the move and now its ruined. I guess I should thank you for saving me the money I would have waisted on seeing it. More money for Joes!

I saw it last night. The action scenes were impressive and the acting was pretty horrible... however, it was much better than ROC. In fact, about halfway through the movie, I said to myself, "This is much closer to what I think G.I. Joe would be like".

I saw it again yesterday afternoon with my wife. I really enjoyed it the second time as well. The acting isn't all that bad, but there are several scenes where the Chief and the LT are talking together that are just awkward... they just feel too contrived. But that's not necessarily their fault. That's partly the writers fault. Also, I don't think the movie was edited very well... the cuts from the villains doing stuff back to the ship with Chief and LT are ill timed, and that makes them seem awkward and out of sync. However, those are small scenes. Overall, it's a great action movie and I really, really enjoyed it.
