This picture best describes how my fiance feels about my collecting:

My wife calls me from the store to say, "They have PEZ 'X'...do you need that one!?" Yes, HER words are "NEED"!
I collect a lot of things and it varies from time to time with what Im into. I have a Joe collection, but I dont collect Joes...if that makes sense. I collect mostly fly fishing equipment and guns, which my wife isnt crazy about the money I spend, but when I buy really low and sell really high she doesnt care as much. But she looks at it all like it could be worse: I dont go out to clubs or bars, I dont drink, smoke or do drugs. Im a good husband and a great father. If I spend $30 bucks here and there on some PEZ or cards its no big deal. When I write a check for $2,000 worth of fishing gear at an estate sale she isnt happy, but when I sell of 1/2 of it for $5K and I could sell the other half for more than that, she feels a lot better! |

My wife is pretty well the same way. She doesn't really understand the collector mentality, but she appreciates that it makes me happy. Lately, I've been trying to control my spending by selling older items as I buy new stuff and she really gets behind that. Especially when there's a little extra left over for me to spend on her

My wife is very supportive of my hobby since we both collect stuff. i collect action figures and she collects cute little furry animals and their doll houses with tiny little furniture and stuff. if i see something she does not have i will get it for her. and if she sees something i don't have she will get it for me. we have a good team
this is the cuteness she collect.
