Looks like the coach puts them in the game just for their size, no skill needed to knock kids down.

What's wrong with that? Basket ball has been taken over by wimps who need to be protected from tough defense.

#5 was the only flagrant foul. Its a tough sport and it does get emotional. The other five fouls i can live with, not out of the norm. # 5 they should of been shooting a "T" for sure.

Hard (and yes, cheap) fouls, sure, but nothing to get cranked up about, Lody.
Big Boy is probably only on the team/in that game to do just that - like an enforcer in hockey. Last edited by Cobra Terrorist; 01-06-2012 at 08:00 PM.. |

I would have just got close to mr. clothesline and buried the ball in his face with every ounce of strength I had to throw it with. That might've sent a message.

This is why I played hockey, football and lacrosse growing up. No big deal other than the kid was huge. The same goes on all the time with much smaller kids, but you dont see people getting their panties in a wad over it. This kid is being pigeonholed as a bully, thats all. And with the medias love affair with such stories, its no wonder this made the news.
