Here's a deserted city in china. It's fully built and deserted for more than a decade. No one moved in. Property bubble anyone?

There is nothing like walking through a deserted hospital with flicking lights and dark hallways. Although nothing is in there except a few carts and old beds in rooms that the hospital did not want.. makes for a great horror movie and let it be known... I was scared walking down some of those hallways!

Empty churches are pretty frightening too.

I've always had a thing for defunct amusement parks. I lived in Ohio growing up and one of the last times I visited we took a ride out to explore Idora Park. Something totally cool, and creep to come upon a place that was once so alive and now sits dead. You can almost feel the people and energy that was present in a place like that.
I've always wanted to try my hand at writing a book based on a defunct amusement park.

I've always wanted to try my hand at writing a book based on a defunct amusement park. Make it a dead child's ghost story, told from the ghost's perspective. |
