It's like they say, no good deed goes unpunished. I can understand that families feel hurt about the loss of their loved one, but it was an honest mistake and was sent with good intentions. It's not like they were trying to rub it in or anything.
I'm pretty sure there is plenty of mail from other sources addressed to soldiers who have fallen that will be sent to the families because they haven't been informed that they are deceased. It's just one of those things that happens. |
