To relieve stress, you might find it therapeutic to put your collection for display like trophies. Buy yourself a display cabinet and arrange your collection like a museum. Toys are not only limited to playing or being stored in ziplock plastic bags but also for display.
Sell your collection if you're running short on cash if you find it necessary. But if you don't really need extra cash, don't let go of your collection. Some of us here would probably go ape shit to get even a handfull of your collections. With what your experiencing right now, do you find it a solution to give up/sell your collection? Perhaps you just need to stop/control yourself from buying new Joes/toys? I hope things will get better for you.
