I love the Nightmare on Elm Street movies, even theough they are kind of cheesy today, and the first Pumpkin Head. I like the remakes of Nightmare, Friday, the Rob Zombie Halloweens, The Last House on the Left, the Hills Have Eyes, and one of my personal favorites... I Spit on Your Grave.

gotta watch halloween and notld every year, 2 of my faves.
recently watched the devil's rejects (again), such a good one. perhaps the most impressive thing about it is that somehow (well, really because william forsythe does such a perfect job) i end up pulling for the sheriff over sid haig, bill mosely, and ken foree. the casting in that movie is PERFECT. except for sheri moon zombie, she gets on my nerve. |

I also love Roger Corman's Poe adaptations. Before he became a purveyor of all things cheesy, Corman was a very talented director. "Masque of the Red Death" is stunningly filmed, and "Fall of the House of Usher" is awesome.
I'll probably watch "The Nightmare Man" too. It's BBC horror sci-fi hybrid at it's best.
